Complimentary registration

The MediaWiki Stakeholders' Group (MWStake) offers complimentary registration for the MediaWiki Users and Developers Conference (MUDCon), so that people who could not otherwise afford a ticket can attend.

A complimentary registration waives the in-person attendance fees, including the conference dinner. It does not cover travel or lodging, and there is no visa sponsorship. There are no exceptions: MWStake's budget does not allow for full scholarships.

Complimentary registrations were previously called scholarships. The name changed because of confusion about what they cover.

How to apply

Applications must be filled out in English.

A link to the application form will be provided here in advance of registration opening for each conference.

Eligibility, how applications are judged, and who decides are described on the complimentary registrations page on mediawiki.org.
