Zoom is an American remote conferencing services company headquartered in San Jose, California. It provides a remote conferencing service that combines video conferencing, online meetings, chat, and mobile collaboration.

Instructions

The following instructions are designed for EMWCon Spring 2020 and can be used to:

• Record to the Cloud (Zoom)
• Live Stream (YouTube)
• Voice-To-Text transcription of the meeting

Beginning of first day

1. Join meeting
2. Record → Record to the Cloud
3. More → Live on Custom Live Streaming Service
4. Copy paste URLs from YouTube live stream dashboard into Zoom web page that opens
5. On YouTube live stream dashboard:
   • Click GO LIVE
   • Gear → Stream Settings → Live Chat: Enable Live Chat

Going to break

1. Share the break picture

    Note:  There may be a pause before you get the menu again.

2. More → Stop Live Stream
3. Stop Share
4. Stop Recording (small square) → Yes
5. ***TAKE A BREAK***

Returning from break

1. Record → Record to the Cloud
2. More → Live on Custom Live Streaming Service

End of day

 Note:  Same as going to break then end meeting.

1. Share the break picture

    Note:  There may be a pause before you get the menu again.

2. More → Stop Live Stream
3. Stop Share
4. Stop Recording (small square) → Yes
5. End Meeting

Start of second and following days

 Note:  Join meeting then same as returning from break.

1. Join meeting
2. Record → Record to the Cloud
3. More → Live on Custom Live Streaming Service

End of LAST day

1. More → Stop Live Stream
2. Stop Recording (small square) → Yes
3. End Meeting
4. On YouTube live stream dashboard:

   Click END STREAM

    Note:  DO NOT DO THIS ON ANY OF THE OTHER DAYS!
