What I needed was someone else to point me at stuff (you know, like anti-spam stuff that is fairly common), and give a steer to new adopters ** Contribute to extensions ** Then also to be able to have a convo wit mw devs about the roadmap and whether this would have effects on current running systems (like plans for php version min reqs etc,) ** The next time I upgrade my wiki farm nothing breaks ** Contributing back to the mediawiki ecosystem ** Keep an eye on development affecting third party users ** MediaWiki to be better than Wordpress, Google and Facebook! === Closing === * Mailinglist: mediawiki-l.
