     • Cindy There is some reservation coming from the WMF regarding confusion about the name or obligation from the WMF
   • Another option is MediaWiki Community Conference (MWComCon)

4. Rich: I just have a small update to share that:
   1. Meza is updated to deploy 35.x on Rocky Linux 8 (community edition of RHEL8) special thanks to WIkiTeq and Brian Wolff specifically.. and
   2. We (NASA) have just exercised our first commercial support mechanism (woo-hoo!) .. it was just a small CC procurement for a tiny bit of support from WikiTeq, but it went really well (see #1 above) & we are already looking to do it again. NASA GRC-ATF will soon be soliciting quotes for annual maintenance of meza

13. Rich: I said yes regarding hosting EMWCon 2024 in Sandusky, but it occurs to me that there was another gentleman at EMWCon 2023 in Austin who was eager to host as well and I thought it was wise to defer to him and keep Sandusky as an option for a year we don't have other options for.

16. Bernhard: still "MediaWiki Community Conference" involves "MediaWiki" and we need permission for this
17. Thomas: in my opinion SMWcon is quite generic, as long as you don't limit it to the software "Semantic Mediawiki"
